The Cumaribo Summer Festival-Vichada dio inicio en 2013, se realiza en los meses de febrero a marzo en el sector de Nice beach; es un evento que goza de gran popularidad local y departamental suele recibir visitantes de toda la región de los llanos orientales colombianos; además de ser la plataforma para la realización del reinado “Chica Rio Vichada”.
The festival has a very varied schedule of events, ranging from local and national music concerts to reigns, sporting events, dances and indigenous cultural displays.
Among the sports activities carried out are: canoeing, beach volleyball, cycling, motocross, motorcycle racing, among others.
Among the typical activities of the llanera culture are: El contrapunteo llanero, La Copa de Coleo rio vichada, Llanera music concerts, typical dances of the llanera culture, horseback riding, among others.
Among the cultural samples, the following stand out: The typical dances of the region and the country, as well as the dances and cultural samples of the indigenous ethnic groups present in the area.
