Marcela Benjumea Plazas is a Colombian television, film and theater actress, born in the city of Bogotá on May 13, 1971. Recognized for productions such as; “The Girl”, “Sincere Love”, “The Robbery of the Century”, among others.

Se graduó en la Escuela de Formación de Actores del Teatro Libre. Es hija del fallecido actor Carlos Benjumea y hermana del también actor Ernesto Benjumea and the actress Paola Benjumea.
