The Raíces llaneras Monument is a sculpture that represents those elements of the folklore and culture of the eastern plains, it is located in Puerto Carreño, capital of Vichada.

The sculpture was made by the sculptor Raúl Montaña Robles and inaugurated on November 30, 1998. In it you can see musical objects such as the harp, guitar, maracas and animals typical of the Orinoquia culture.
