BIOGRAPHY

Carolina Gaitán, better known as “La Gaita” is a Colombian actress and singer, born in the city of Villavicencio, Colombia, on April 4, 1984. Internationally recognized for productions such as Disney's Encanto, Sin senos si hay cielo, Hermanitas Calle , among other.

Carolina studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York. Her first contact with television was in 2002, in the reality show Popstars, on Canal Caracol, of which she turned out to be the winner. Thanks to them, she became a member of the musical group Escarcha, considered the first Colombian girl band. The group had great success in their first album, but after a year of existence the group broke up and its members took individual paths.
