Cocadas Recipe
Aprende en esta sencilla receta como hacer una deliciosas Cocadas colombianas de forma fácil y rápida.
Ingredients
- 2 coconuts
- 1½ pound of sugar
- 4 cloves (molidos)
- 1 lemon
Step by step preparation
- The first thing we will do is break the coconut, keep the water aside and extract the pulp and grate it, using the thickest part of the grater or the thinnest part, it depends entirely on each person's taste.
- Then the grated coconut is cooked along with half a pound of sugar and coconut water, and the previously ground cloves are added.
- When the syrup begins to thicken, add the rest of the sugar and lemon juice, stirring with a wooden spoon until it straightens.
- Then with a spoon they take out small portions and assemble the cocadas.
- And that's it, wait for them to cool a little before eating them.
