BIOGRAPHY

Katherine Vélez Huertas is a Colombian film, theater and television actress born in the city of Bogotá on April 4, 1971. Recognized for productions such as “Hasta que la plata nos Separe”, “El Capo”, “Café con aroma de mujer ", among other.

Vélez began his career in acting at the age of 23 despite already having an established career in another profession. Thanks to the “actor's law” that was approved in the Congress of Colombia thanks to the “actor's law” approved in the Congress of the Republic, she graduated in 2019, as a teacher in dramatic art from the University of Antioquia in alliance with the Guerrero Arts Academy in Medellín.

She is married to the actor as well. Ernesto Benjumea, with whom he worked in the soap opera “Hasta que la plata nos separe” from 2006.
