BIOGRAPHY
Manuel Busquets Emiliani was a Colombian actor, director and producer born in the city of Cartagena de Indias in 1945.
His father was of Catalan origin, he came to the country with the Tropical Oil Company, and his mother, Eulalia Emiliani Román, belonged to two recognized and respected families from the Colombian Caribbean.
Busquets studied acting in Canada and Spain and law at the Javeriana University for three years. During the 70's I managed the radio, film and television department of the Leo Burnett advertising agency for several years.

Then he decided to dedicate himself fully to the artistic medium in which he participated in various films, soap operas and plays; Likewise, he ventures as a director and producer in several films and short films.
He died on August 3, 2019 after failing to resist surgery. Busquets was already experiencing deterioration in his health, mainly due to a car accident he had previously suffered.
