The Cartagena Navy Park It is an urban park located in the historic center of the walled city, near the Caribbean Naval Museum.
This park is dedicated to honoring the naval forces of Colombia, it is divided into three areas; the initial area where the monuments that honor the Colombian naval and military forces are located; the middle area, which is a large pool with a fountain in the middle and the green areas that surround the park and take up the final area of it.
About the Monuments of the Marina Park
Among the monuments found in the park are: the Monument to the Colombian Sailor, made on the occasion of the 188th birthday of the National Navy, the Monument to the Marine Corps, in tribute to all the marines who offer their lives for the peace of Colombia, the Memorial to Korean War Veterans 1950, he Turtle Ship Monument, is a sculpture in tribute to the Colombian combatants in the Korean War of 1950, donated by the South Korean government to Cartagena de Indias, it must be remembered that the Korean War of 1950 was on the occasion of North Korea's invasion of Korea from the south, at the call of the UN, the only Latin American country that sent military force was Colombia.

And finally we have the Sculpture “The Door”, this sculpture was made in tribute to all those victims of the anti-personnel mines left by the armed conflict in Colombia, it was sculpted by the young sculptor Fernando Pinto.

The park is located on Santander Avenue, 30th Street in the historic center of Cartagena, very close to the Caribbean Naval Museum.
About the Sculptor Fernando Pinto
Fernando Pinto is a Colombian sculptor born in the municipality of Bucaramanga, he studied at the Universidad de los Andes, in 2012 he won the Chaco International Biennial and has held exhibitions in different cities around the world.
