Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound bonito (tuna)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • 1 chive wedge
  • 1 Sweet pepper
  • 1 trickle of vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • salt (al gusto)
  • pepper (al gusto)

Step by step preparation
 

  • First, you proceed to prepare the ingredients, finely chopping those that require it, such as the chives, chili and garlic.
  • Then season the fish with lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper to taste, and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Then it is placed on the fire with water at a level that covers it for around 6 minutes.
  • When this time has passed, take it out and proceed to crumble it.
  • Separately, prepare a stew with the tomato, chives, sweet chili and oil, then add the vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
  • The fish and stew are mixed well until they are just right.
  • Traditionally, bonito salpicón is usually served accompanied by White rice.
