Biography
Boris Fadul is a Colombian singer, songwriter, guitarist, percussionist, and music teacher, born in Sincelejo, Colombia, in 1959, and based in Cartagena de Indias since 1976.
From a very young age, he showed interest in music, beginning to study guitar at the age of 13. Alongside his musical career, he also became an electrical engineer.

The single “La Chica Rock and Roll” by the band TAXY, of which Boris was guitarist and co-founder, was included in the most important compilation in the history of Spanish-language rock music: Llena Tu Cabeza de Rock en Español.
He was a member and co-founder of several bands: TAXY, The Hutchinson Group, Rock Stronger Group, S.O.S., DANGER, Boris Fadul & Fantasía, Emphasis, and Radiofónika. Currently, he is the director and leader of BFusion Band.
Boris is considered one of the pioneers of Fusion in Colombia. He plays guitar, mandolin, Spanish lute, drums, bass, ukulele, and tiple. He is also a member of the board of directors of the International Guitar Festival “Cartagena de Indias.”

In 2018, he released his sixth album Anywhere as the first Colombian mandolinist, presenting versions that were performed for the first time in music history with this remarkable instrument.
