Cachaquillo Recipe
Cachaquillo is a cocktail made mainly from passion fruit, coffee and sugar. Learn in this simple recipe how to make Cachaquillo quickly and easily.
Ingredients
- ¼ pound passion fruit pulp
- instant coffee
- sugar (blanca)
- cinnamon powder (al gusto)
- ice
- 1 lemon
Step by step preparation
- In the blender you should place ice that covers 1/3 of the glass, passion fruit pulp, 7 tablespoons of sugar and 7 tablespoons of instant coffee. Then they are blended until the mixture obtains a creamy consistency and yellow color.
- The glasses where the cocktail will be served must be frosted, to do so you must spread the sugar and cinnamon mixture on a plate, then take half of the lemon and pass it over the edge of the glass, then place the glass upside down on the plate with sugar and cinnamon so that the edges are frosted.
- Finally, proceed to serve the cocktail in the frosted glasses and sprinkle it with a pinch of cinnamon powder.
- Don't be hesitant: If you plan to serve more than 3 of these cocktails per person, you can use decaffeinated coffee to avoid caffeine problems. It is important to check if the pulp is sugary. If yes, white sugar should be dispensed with in the preparation.
