Biography
Carolina Gaitán, better known as “La Gaita”, is a Colombian actress and singer, born in Villavicencio, Colombia, on April 4, 1984. She is internationally recognized for productions such as Disney’s Encanto, Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso, Las Hermanitas Calle, among others.

Carolina studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. Her first approach to television was in 2002, in the reality show Popstars on Canal Caracol, where she emerged as the winner. Thanks to this, she became a member of the musical group Escarcha, considered the first Colombian girl band. The group achieved great success with their debut album, but after one year, the band disbanded and its members pursued individual paths.
