Chicha de Moriche Recipe
La Chicha de Moriche o Aguajina está hecha a base de los frutos de la palma de moriche, la cual abunda en la región amazónica y de la Orinoquia, a esta palmera se le suele llamar el árbol de la vida. Aprende en esta sencilla receta como hacer Chicha de Moriche de forma rápida y sencilla.
Ingredients
- 50 moriche seeds
- 1 Panela
- Water
Step by step preparation
- Take a bunch of moriches and shell them, soak them in water for 1 hour.
- The peels are removed and then the seeds are removed, leaving only the flesh of the fruit.
- Then it is passed through a strainer to release the characteristic yellow color of the pulp and sweetened with panela to taste, adding the syrup prepared with it.
- It should generally be taken fresh and cold; if you want it stronger, let it ferment for two more days.
