Biography
Luis Felipe Solano Dávila was a Colombian theater, film, and television actor, born in Santa Marta on September 4, 1937. He was recognized for his participation in productions such as Gallito Ramírez, Escalona, San Tropel, among others.

Although his father opposed his pursuit of acting, Solano’s passion for the art was so strong that he saved money while working in Bogotá to finance a trip to Europe, where he studied acting with theater masters in Spain and England. In addition to his acting career, he occasionally worked as an English teacher and also served as president of the Colombian Artists’ Circle.
Solano passed away on February 27, 2019, in San Gil, Santander, at the age of 81, due to a cerebrovascular illness.
