The Solar Energy Plant, 'Bayunca 1' project, was officially inaugurated

Near Cartagena, exactly in the municipality of Bayunca, the Solar Energy Plant, the 'Bayunca 1' project, was inaugurated.

It must be remembered that this is a plant that came into operation on September 30. Iván Martínez, president of EGAL, manager of the project, launched this new space, which adds two plants for clean energy.

At the time, it was detailed that the Bayunca I Solar Plant was built on an area of 6.5 hectares, spaces that house 9,000 solar panels which provide a peak power of 3.6 megawatts.

In the presentation, in addition to the company executives, President Iván Duque explained that “we have to continue thinking big, we are working to have in the first quarter of 2021 a new auction for unregulated above 5,000 megabytes in all the national territory, to continue consolidating renewable energies.”
