Around dawn the unbeliever arrived very calm and serene. The husband said to her: Where do you come from? She casually answered: to wash some clothes. At night???, the husband cuts off.

A few days later, the mocked husband invented a new trip. He mounted his horse, walked around a pasture several times and then kept it in a neighboring stall. At night, he came on foot to hide in the banana tree in front of his ranch. That night the woman did not go out but the boss came to visit her. When the rich landowner arrived at the door, the woman came out to greet him and threw herself into his arms, kissing and caressing him.

The enraged husband who was watching everything, jumped up with a machete raised and without giving the boss time to get rid of the incident, he cut off his head with a single blow of the machete. The woman, somewhere between surprised and horrified, wanted to flee, but the furious husband dealt her a tremendous blow with a machete that lowered her leg as if it were a tree branch. They both died almost at the same time. The cowboy was sentenced to jail, but when he got out a short time later, he returned for the three boys and set fire to the house.

People claim to have seen the woman jumping on one leg, through mountains, ravines and roads, dripping blood and uttering pitiful screams. It is the lost soul of the unfaithful woman who wanders through mountains, valleys and plains, who dishonored her children and did not know how to respect her husband.

According to the legend, La Pata alone hides among the mountainous jungle and is the terror of farmers, miners and lovers of the forest. Those who have seen her say that she is a very beautiful woman who seduces and attracts them to make them fall in love, but as As they approach, she advances towards the darkness of the forest, until she completely immerses them in the darkness of the forest, then she transforms into a horrible woman with eyes of fire, a disfigured mouth from which feline teeth and hair appear. short and disheveled that falls over the face to hide its ugliness.
