Ingredients

  • 2 dozens crab teeth
  • Butter
  • 1 bigheaded onion
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • Parsley
  • Basil, marjoram and other aromatic herbs
  • Salt (al gusto)

Step by step preparation

  • First, prepare the ingredients, wash them well and chop the onion, tomato, garlic and parsley, all separately.
  • Then we proceed to cook the crab teeth for 5 minutes in boiling water. Once done, the thin shell is broken and when removed, only the meat is left attached to the cartilage.
  • Place the butter to melt and add the other ingredients on top of it.
  • Finally, the mixture is poured over the molars and it is ready to serve. You can decorate the plate with slices of tomato and white onion or with patacones (tostones).

Interesting Facts

  • If you want to give more flavor to the dish, I can add 2 tablespoons of rum to the dish during step number 2 of the preparation.
