The Guáripa pictograms are a collection of rock art found on Cerro de Guáripa, a tepuy from the Precambrian era located in Puerto Carreño, capital of vichada.
The collection of pictograms has more than a hundred pieces in which you can see anthropomorphic (human) bodies, zoomorphic (animal) bodies, geometric figures and celestial bodies portrayed; According to researchers and archaeologists, these pictograms are more than 4,000 years old, and are part of the symbology and forms of expression of the indigenous empires that dominated these lands.
