Receta de Arepas de ñame
Ingredients
- 2 pounds yam
- 4 eggs
- ½ pound of cheese
- Salt (al gusto)
Step by step preparation
- Lo primero que deben hacer es cocinar el ñame con su concha, luego deben pelarlo y molerlo o macharlo.
- Then proceed to mix the 4 previously beaten egg yolks, the previously grated cheese and salt to taste along with the yam.
- Once you have mixed well, you will take several portions of the dough and form the arepas.
- Then you will proceed to wrap the arepas in greased banana leaves.
- They are then grilled for about 20 minutes.
