Receta de bolitas de coco
The bolas o bolitas de coco son un postre popular en la costa y zonas insulares de Colombia, este postre sencillo de realizar se ha convertido en una gran alternativa de pasaboca en las fiestas y eventos. Aprende en esta sencilla receta como unas deliciosas bolitas de coco de forma rápida y sencilla.
Ingredients
- 1 large coconut
- 1 can of condensed milk
- Butter
Step by step preparation
- First you must extract the meat (pulp) from the coconut, once you have removed it you must remove the crust or brown skin underneath, once you have the clean pulp proceed to grate it.
- Then in a cup you must mix the condensed milk, butter and grated coconut (you must separate a cup of grated coconut to use later); After having mixed everything well, you must cook the mixture.
- You must let it cook until you obtain a homogeneous mass. You must stir the mixture throughout the process, preferably with a wooden spoon. When you notice that the mixture has thickened and begins to separate from the bottom, turn off and remove from the heat.
- Place the mixture in a cup and let it cool. Once it has cooled, proceed to form some balls with your hands and pass these balls through the grated coconut that was previously saved.
- Preferably you can leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving so that it acquires a better consistency.
- And that's it, you have some delicious coconut balls perfect for any occasion.
Interesting Facts
- If you wish, you can use chocolate noodles instead of grated coconut in step 4, this will give it a different touch.
- Coconuts are rich in fiber, vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6.
