Carmen de Lugo (Anuncia Pereiro) was a Colombian-Spanish actress, born in Lugo, Spain. She is considered one of the pioneering actresses of Colombian radio, film, theater, and television, remembered for productions such as Candó, La Mala Hierba, Dejémonos de Vainas, among many others.
She settled in Colombia as a child when her family moved to the country, completing her schooling in Barranquilla and Bogotá. In 1950, she joined the experimental group of the Radio Nacional, participating in several radio theater productions. Later, with the arrival of television in Colombia, Lugo became a recurring figure in national productions, including teleteatros and telenovelas. She also worked in Argentina with the company of Mexican actress María Teresa Montoya.

Carmen de Lugo was married to director, actor, and playwright Bernardo Romero Lozano, and was the mother of actor, director, and writer Bernardo Romero Pereiro. Her sister, Lucila de Medina, was also a prominent actress in the 1960s, and she was the mother-in-law of acclaimed actress Judy Henríquez.
She passed away on February 22, 1986, due to a heart attack, while she was part of the production Dejémonos de Vainas, which was directed by her son.
