Biography
Carmen Marina Torres was a Colombian actress, born on October 8, 1956, in El Charco, Nariño, Colombia. She is recognized as one of the first Afro-Colombian artists to enter Colombian television.
Carmen grew up in Cali, where she studied theater, later moving to Bogotá, where she began her career in various soap operas and miniseries of the 1970s and 1980s.

Among the most memorable productions in which she participated are: Los Cuervos, Lola Calamidades, La Tormenta, El Zorro: La Espada y la Rosa, El Clon, among others. She was married for more than 30 years to actor Eleazar Osorio, with whom she had a daughter named Fernanda.
Carmen Marina passed away on October 6, 2015, at the Méderi Clinic in Bogotá, after undergoing open-heart surgery following a heart attack she had suffered on October 1.
