Biography
Felipe Aljure is a Colombian film director and screenwriter, born in Girardot. He is known for films such as El Colombian Dream, La gente de la Universal, and Tres escapularios.

He studied Art and Technique of Film Making in London. Aljure has been recognized for introducing technical and narrative innovations in Colombian cinema through his films. He has also worked as a television series director, served as a university professor, and participated in other cultural fields in the country.
In 2018, he was appointed artistic director of the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI).
