Gold for Colombia in Women’s Doubles Bowling: Santa Fe 2026 South American Games

María José Rodríguez and Juliana Franco won the gold medal in women’s doubles bowling during the XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026. The duo accumulated a total of 2,649 points, surpassing the delegations from Aruba and Venezuela.

During the six games played on Thursday, September 17, Juliana Franco and María José Rodríguez recorded game scores of 483, 448, 385, 465, 409, and 459. This performance secured the national pair’s first-place finish in the bowling competition at the Norcenter lanes.

The athletes’ performance adds to the country’s national delegation medal tally on the continental stage. The silver medal went to Aruba’s pair, Kamilah Dammers and Abigail Dammers, who finished their participation with 2,345 points. Bronze went to Venezuela’s Patricia de Faria and Karen Marcano, who finished in third place with 2,304 points.
