Biography
Margoth Velásquez is a Colombian theater, film, and television actress, born in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca, on May 11, 1945. Among her most memorable productions are Gallito Ramírez, Décimo Grado, Espumas, Oye Bonita, ¿Dónde Carajos Está Umaña?, among others.

Velásquez has cultivated a long and successful acting career. She began at the age of 16, starting in theater and later moving into television with the character Andrea in El Alférez Real.
As part of her life philosophy and a way to train both mind and body, Velásquez constantly studies and practices painting, acting, artistic pedagogy, puppetry, modern dance, and Colombian folk dance.
