Biography
Stella Suárez is a Colombian actress and announcer, born in Bogotá on May 3, 1959. During the 1970s and 1980s, she achieved great success in Colombian television, being part of unforgettable productions such as La Mala Hora, La Dama de las Camelias, Casa Brava, La Espada de Papel, among others.

Suárez studied at the San José School, and her artistic training came from the voice, diction, and acting teachers her mother hired. She made her television debut at the age of 15 in La Mala Hora, a role she obtained because Gabriel García Márquez reportedly said she had “the perfect mouse face for the role.”
At the peak of her success, Stella Suárez stepped away from acting to dedicate herself to commercial announcing and voice dubbing for advertisements at a Colombian radio station in Miami. She lived for six years between Colombia and the United States before finally settling in Bogotá. Thanks to her radio experience, she became the voice of companies such as Comcel, Avon, and Banco Caja Social, and has also worked for channels like Discovery, Telemundo, and CGN TV.
In recent years, she has focused on voice work and the practice of her faith in God, maintaining her presence as a respected figure in Colombian media and advertising.
