Ingredients
- 1 ripe pineapple
- 2 cups of yuca brava starch
- sugar (al gusto)
- Water
Step by step preparation
- The first thing you should do is peel the pineapple and then put it in a blender with water.
- Then cook this juice until it boils.
- Separately, you must prepare the cassava starch, diluting it with water and then adding it to the hot pineapple juice, stirring it until the starch is cooked.
- And that's it, if you wish you can leave it fermenting for 1 or 2 days.

- It is the native drink of the Huitoto indigenous ethnic group.
- In the traditional preparation, a blender is not used and the cooking process takes a little longer. This is a slightly more modern version of the traditional one, since other more traditional elements are involved in the typical recipe.
