Ingredients
- 1 pound of oats
- 4 liters of fresh water
- 4 cinammon sticks
- 4 cloves
- sugar to taste
- milk to taste
Step by step preparation
- The first thing you do is take the oats and place them in a pot along with a little water, cinnamon, cloves (they can be powdered or normal) and sugar to taste.
- Let it cook until it starts to boil, when it is at this point add the milk, when it is boiling again, cover it and lower the heat to the lowest setting.
- Let it cook for 15 minutes and remove it from the heat, then set it aside in the refrigerator for about 3 hours or so.
- Then proceed to blend and that's it, it can be served with lots of ice.
- If you wish, you can sprinkle some cinnamon powder at the end.
