Biography
Consuelo Luzardo is a renowned Colombian actress of television, film, and theater, born in Bogotá on May 26, 1945. She is considered one of the most important actresses in Colombian television and has built a prolific career over the years.
Her parents enrolled her in the National School of Dramatic Arts at the age of 14 so she could socialize, since she was very shy from a young age—something that, as she herself affirms, has not changed, as she enjoys solitude.

She served for several years as President of the Colombian Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Some of the many notable productions in which she has participated include: Yo y Tú, Los Cuervos, ¿Por qué mataron a Betty si era tan buena muchacha?, Caballo Viejo, La Viuda de Blanco, Chepe Fortuna, La Nieta Elegida, Mariposas Verdes, among many others.
She has been married twice: first to publicist José Antonio Moreno, and later to publicist Claus Reprich. She is also the sister of film director Julio Luzardo and of the late actress Celmira Luzardo.
