Santiago Botero

Biography

Santiago Botero is a Colombian actor, recognized for his participation in productions such as “El Precio del Silencio”, “Por Amor”, “No Renuncies Salomé”, among others.

He is the son of renowned actress Ana Cristina Botero and famous television host Jorge Barón. He is also the nephew of actor Oscar Botero and actresses María Cecilia Botero and Hilda Botero, as well as the grandson of director Jaime Botero.

As a child, Santiago used to say that he dreamed of becoming a film director. At the age of 13, he received the special TV y Novelas award for Best Child Actor for his performance in “El Precio del Silencio”.

He completed his secondary studies at Gimnasio Los Pinos school.
