Biography
Ana Cristina Botero Cadavid is a Colombian actress, born in Medellín on March 10, 1968. While her career has been primarily in television, she has also participated in film and theater.
Acting has always been part of her life, as she is the daughter of actor, scriptwriter, and director Jaime Botero Gómez. She is also the niece of the remembered actress Dora Cadavid, and her siblings María Cecilia Botero, Hilda Botero, and Óscar Botero have all built successful careers in acting.

Her television debut was in the telenovela Lejos del Nido, directed by her father and starring her sister María Cecilia. After spending some time in theater, she returned to television, where she participated in numerous successful Colombian productions.
Ana Cristina was married to presenter and businessman Jorge Barón, with whom she had a son, Santiago Botero, who also appeared in several national productions.
She remains a respected figure in Colombian entertainment, part of a family deeply rooted in the country’s artistic tradition.
