  • cup of corn flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

  • ½ pound corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon of starch
  • Oil for frying

  • The first thing to do is grind or grate the cheese. Once you have done so, mix it with the corn flour, the 2 previously beaten eggs, the milk and the sugar. Then proceed to knead everything very well.
  • When you have a soft dough, you will moisten your hands and then begin to form the dough into several balls.
  • Then you must fry these balls in hot oil, when you notice that they fluff up and rise, you must increase the heat until you see that they are golden brown.
  • And that's it, you can take them out. Ideally, place them to drain on adsorbent paper so that the excess oil comes out.

  • In Colombia there is a wide variety of doughs called buñuelos, some of the most popular are: Lentil fritters, blackhead bean fritters, corn fritters, among others.
  • If the cheese you use is Coastal cheese or something similar, which are salty cheeses, would not require salt, depending on tastes you can also add a little, if you use a different cheese that is not salty, then you should add salt to taste.
