Ingredients
- 1 pound of currants
- 1 pound of sugar
- 1 liter of water
Step by step preparation
- The first thing you do is wash the currants well, then make a few cuts on the currants, and soak them with their stick in water for several hours.
- Then they are cooked until they are almost dissolved, trying to change the water twice. Then they are taken out and drained.
- Then they are cooked again in 1 liter of water along with the sugar over low heat, until a syrup is formed and they heat to taste.
