Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of currants
  • 1 pound of sugar
  • 1 liter of water

Step by step preparation
 

  • The first thing you do is wash the currants well, then make a few cuts on the currants, and soak them with their stick in water for several hours.
  • Then they are cooked until they are almost dissolved, trying to change the water twice. Then they are taken out and drained.
  • Then they are cooked again in 1 liter of water along with the sugar over low heat, until a syrup is formed and they heat to taste.
  • And that's it, you can now enjoy this delicious sweet.
