Jugo de Aguacate (Sweet Avocado Smoothie)
A surprisingly sweet, rich, and creamy Latin American classic! Ripe avocado blended with cold milk and sugar for a massive health boost.
Ingredients
- 1 Avocado Fully ripe
- 1 Liter Milk Cold
- 1/4 lb Sugar Adjust to taste
Instructions
- Extract the pulp: The very first step is to slice the ripe avocado in half. Carefully remove and discard the large center seed (pit). Using a spoon, scoop out all of the soft green pulp.
- Blend the base: Place the extracted avocado pulp directly into a blender. Pour in the liter of cold milk and add the sugar to your liking. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth, creamy, and unified.
- Serve: Serve immediately! This rich beverage is always best enjoyed icy cold. (Chef's Hack: If your milk isn't very cold, throw a handful of crushed ice directly into the blender!)
