Recipe for Potatoes in chupe or chupe de papa
Aprende en esta sencilla receta como hacer potato suck de forma fácil y rápida.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds of savannah potatoes
- 1 long onion stem
- 1 ripe tomato
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- annatto or color
- cumin (al gusto)
- pepper (al gusto)
- salt (al gusto)
Step by step preparation
- First wash the potatoes very well, then peel them and cut them into hulls or pieces, around 4 to 5 pieces depending on the size of the potatoes.
- Then in a pot you should begin to sauté with the oil, the previously finely chopped long onion, the previously peeled and chopped tomato, and the crushed garlic.
- When you notice that the onion begins to become transparent, add the milk, also add color, cumin, pepper and salt to taste. Mix everything very well.
- Then add the potatoes and when it starts to boil, cover the pot and let them cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. You must ensure that the potatoes are cooked without falling apart. If you notice that it is very dry, add more milk and if you see that it has too much liquid, uncover the pot so that it can evaporate a little.
- And that's it, you can now enjoy this delicious dish.
